The
SAWStudio interface is a tightly woven mesh of a fully developed

The
virtual console is designed as a 72 stereo input (144 channel),
24 stereo output (48 i/o) mixer, with Input Source, Attenuator,
Phase Reverse, Swap L/R, and Mono buttons, 5 Band Stereo EQ,
Keying Gate and Compressor, Pre and Post FX patch points,
six Stereo Aux Sends with Pan, 24 Stereo Output Assigns, 8-point
XY Surround Pan with separate Sub and Center Chan, Solo, Mute,
Stereo Pan, long throw Fader with a Stereo High-Resolution
(-60 dB) Meter on each channel.
The
SAWStudio MultiTrack takes on expanded dimensions with its
distinctive new look and capabilities. Each of the 72 mono
or stereo labeled tracks allows its entries to be displayed
in a variety of different textures and colors, making visual
grouping of related information possible. Distinctive large
LED readout displays give accurate position related information
in Time, Smpte, Sample or Tempo formats.
Complete
interlinking to the console means that as you focus and change
tracks in the MultiTrack, the displayed console channels follow
along, giving you instant access at all times to the track's
related console controls.
An
enhanced editing Selection Mode allows for easy slipping,
copying, pasting and inserting of data across multiple tracks,
and gives access to 30 labeled groups for instant recall of
selection combinations.
Each
of the 72 stereo tracks are eight layers deep. The selected
top layer becomes the active layer in the mix. A wonderful
compliment of editing tools allows copying, pasting, and blending
of the individual layer data. Layers can be switched LIVE
during playback for a seamless comparison of multiple takes
on different layers. This should prove invaluable in assembling
complex blends of multiple recording takes.
SAWStudio
offers some of the most comprehensive automation capabilities
ever designed for the audio professional. The automation engine
is based on a live streaming design, rather than a snapshot
design, creating an incredibly smooth and fluid motion during
automation changes - with down-to-the-sample timing accuracy.
When automation mode is engaged, any number of the 10,000+
controls can be adjusted, and changes will be stored. You
are free to write automation live during playback, or offline
with playback stopped. The automation may also be written
with external fader packs and/or mixer controllers supported
by the SAWStudio environment, enhancing the mixing experience
for those wishing to have true hands-on physical control.

 SAWPlus32 represents the third generation of digital hard
disk editing software from Innovative Quality Software. Written
in native NT/98/95 32 bit code, SAWPlus32 truly makes use
of and takes advantage of the multithreaded technology of
the Windows 32-bit API.
Now
you can easily record and edit up to 32 mono or stereo tracks
of 16-bit resolution CD and DAT-quality soundfiles
directly on your computer's hard drive. SAWPlus32 supports
up to 12 stereo sound cards, for a maximum of up to 24 physical
inputs and outputs, and automatically converts 8 bit, 16 bit,
mono or stereo files of any samplerate, playing them all seamlessly
in sync -LIVE...in REAL-TIME!! The elegance and speed of

SAW
is a professional production tool for manipulating
and crafting audio on your PC computer using the Windows™ Operating
System.
The
SAW System allows you to record and edit 16 Bit Resolution
CD and DAT quality SoundFiles at
sampling frequencies up to 48KHz on your computer's hard
drive with ease. The elegance of the Workshop's design offers
unmatched
efficiency in taking a project from conception to completion.
Can
you splice on your DAT? No...It's back to the Reel
to Reel for that, and oh, that tape hiss... and worse...
the dreaded razor blade.
SAW allows you to splice audio data Non-Destructively by
building Play Sequences from marked Regions of data without
modifying
the original SoundFiles directly. SAW gives
you the capability to perform your splices with Down-To-The-Sample
accuracy. That's 1/48000 of a second at 48KHz Sampling rate.
Easily
create multiple versions of a production and compare them
instantly with the click of the mouse. All this is done without
leaving the Digital Domain, which translates to higher quality,
noise-free final products.
SAW
creates the 8 tracks in Software and digitally combines them
into a Stereo Output which plays

Since
SAW allows you to edit across 40 SoundFiles at once in the
same editing session, you can mix and blend sounds from pre-categorized
libraries or easily assemble that perfect solo from many

The MultiTrack View allows you to place and drag Regions of
audio to any position within the production, relative to the
other tracks. This means you can control musical phrasing
long after the original recording has been made. This also
means you can easily create delay and flanging effects by
placing the same Regions on two different tracks and sliding
one slightly behind the other, alI Non-Destructively.
Digital
Pitch Shifting is usually a process whereby samples of the
original Waveform are removed or duplicated to cause the
pitch
of the audio to be altered. A process whereby the original
Waveform is so distorted as to render its use intolerable
by anyone with the slightest degree of audio integrity. And
a process which usually lakes so long to complete its task,
that many have gone to lunch while waiting. If you are familiar
with this experience, you are in for a treat with SAW!
SAW
performs Vari-Pitching, to tenths of a semitone accuracy,
without removing or duplicating any Waveform samples. This
is done in 386 32Bit-Register Assembly Language so the results
are incredibly fast and remarkable to listen to.
No
Audio Glitches, Hiccups, or noticeable distortion, and you
don't have to go to lunch while waiting!
