| Day 3 (Cont'd):
An unexpected opportunity presented itself this
day when Bob was fortunate to meet famous console
designer, Jim Gamble. Jim had expressed such
enthusiastic interest in Bob's presentation,
that before AES was over, he made arrangements
for Bob to meet and discuss his technology with
the executives at Crest Audio, Inc. the manufacturers
of the EX console line that Jim designed. This
marked the beginning of a long-term friendship
with Jim, and a successful collaboration on the
design and creation of the future DCX console.
Jim shared with Bob that he had been dreaming
of designing a fully recallable console for years,
and that the technology that SAC represented
made it all possible. |
